How long will the grooming take?

Depending on the service selected grooming can take anywhere from 1-3 hours. A more accurate time estimate will be given after booking.

What is the best age to get my puppy groomed?

We recommend booking for a puppy tidy as soon as your pup has had their second vaccination. starting the grooming early in your pups life will set them up for a positive experience with grooming. Leaving the first grooming experience until they are older and overgrown can cause a dog to become stressed or fearful of the grooming process.

I don't want my dog shaved, how do I avoid matting?

At The Pup Spa we do not do painful de-mattings. If your dogs fur is matted we will have to shave under the mats to avoid causing pain to the dog. To avoid matting we recommend a 4-8 week professional grooming schedule and brushing and combing the fur daily.

Can I leave my dog with you all day?

We don't offer daycare at The Pup Spa.
We try to limit the amount of dogs at the salon at any one time to make the salon as calm and stress free as possible.

Do you take walk-ins?

To keep the Salon as calm and stressfree as possible we are an appointment only salon.
