Terms and Conditions

Appointment Times:

Please arrive on time to your appointment.

If you are more than 15-minutes past your appointment time and you have not contacted us we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and you will be required to pay a no-show fee before another appointment is made.

Cancellations / No-Shows:

All cancellations require 24-hour’s notice. Same day cancellations and no-shows will be required to pay a fee of 50% of their booked service before another appointment will be scheduled.

Appointment Duration:

Appointments Generally take between 1.5-2.5 hours. Times do vary depending on the size of the dog, service requested and behaviour of the dog.

Late Pickup:

Please collect your pet no later than 30-minutes after you have been contacted unless prior arrangements have been made. A day care fee of $15 per hour will be charged if pets are not collected on time. Pets collected outside of business hours will incur a $1 per minute after hours fee.

Behaviour:

To keep our salon a safe and calm environment for all pets and neighbouring residents we are unable to accept dogs who are aggressive or who bark excessively. Any other behavioural issues must be disclosed to the groomer prior to your appointment.  

Medical:

Your pets’ medical conditions and/or medications must be disclosed to the groomer before your appointment.

Matting:

We DO NOT perform painful de-mattings. You will be advised if your dogs’ coat needs to be taken short. Please be aware that although the utmost care will be taken during matting removal there is an increased risk of clipper cuts and grazes. Removal of matting can also reveal hidden sores, infections, or bruising. The Pup Spa will not be responsible for vet costs associated with matting removal. Additional fees apply.

Photos:

The Pup Spa reserves the right to photograph your pets and use these photographs as marketing or promotion material.
